Happy New Year

Happy New Year! I do love the start of the New Year, with shiny clean calendars to fill in.

Every year I use New Year to set goals for the year.  But this year I have been really struggling with setting goals, as so much of my life revolves around darling daughter, and the pace of life is so different now.

Perhaps my goal needs to be to go with the flow more.  Less goals, less focused accomplishing, more time spent in the moment and enjoying this time of my life.

That may be part of it. In fact, the more I reflect on this, the more I think this is the BHAG (Big, Hairy Audacious Goal) for 2008.  I want to create memories for my family, both the ‘3’ of us and our extended families too. I want to look back on 2008 as a year that we really really really enjoyed. I want my daughter to remember her mum having fun!
