A Meme

February 24, 2008 at 1:08 am 1 comment

I’ve been procrastinating on this Meme since the lovely Megan tagged me. I’m flattered to be tagged … but the problem is I don’t have many bloggy friends to tag in turn! But any excuse to write about Munchkin is a good one I say.

The Rules

1. Link to the person that tagged you
2. Post the rules on your blog
3. Share 6 non-important things/quirks about your kid
4. Tag at least three people at the end of your post and link to their blogs
5. Let each person know they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog
6. Let the fun begin!

So … six quirky things about Munchkin

1. She is currently obsessed with kissing – everyone and everything. So after her meals she has to kiss certain things  –  in order – namely the Ritzenhoff cermamic pig her Uncle Tim gave her, my lucky elephant and our wedding photo.

2. When she wears a sposie (more often than I wish!) she insists on taking it to the rubbish and closing the lid. She’s a tidy Kiwi!

3. Her favourite song at the moment is Number 9 Cutie. This is a seriously retro Sesame Street song that all her cousins sing to her. Consequently, her first word other than mama and dada was ‘nine’.

4. She can eat half her bodyweight in macaroni. OK, I haven’t weighed in, but I wouldn’t be far wrong.

5. She loves to try to put her clothes on clothes hangers. She can’t do it yet, but she’s trying really hard. I told you before, she’s a tidy Kiwi.

6. Her favourite book isn’t a book at all, its a small photo album of family photos. Its the only thing that keeps her still for more than five minutes. And she kisses all the photos of course.

So I tag La Donna Mobile and PlanningQueen and The Natural Mommy– but I don’t know any of you very well so if I am overstepping blogland etiquette please let me know!
